Probably, you think “Soon you won’t have what to learn from 10 min coaching course” because I do it every day, don’t you?
Definitely no!
Since there is the person who gives feedback, I still have what to learn except for what I could and couldn’t do well!
As a result, I proud of myself that I could provide good session!
My teachers also praise my session. Today I’m gonna write about what we discussed after feedback.
5 Takeaways from Last Time
Last time, I’ve learned:
- Design the time schedules of the session.
- Ask “how may I help you?” in order to ensure his action, when the client decide his action.
- Show your empathy, when you push your client.
- Design the session based on the trust between coach and client.
- Gives feedback with considering the relationship among the people involved.
Design the time schedules of the session.
From last feedback, “how we have to design the session to finish with client’s smile and thank you?”.
For me, from if last two minutes I could start the summary of the session, the client can finish to tell what his action for today so I designed for this.
I used the phrase “since we’ve only left ~min now,,,,” and I’ve got feedback that “it’s good to know how many minutes we left for both of coach and client”.
Ask “how may I help you?” in order to ensure his action, when the client decide his action.
My teacher advised me that “Ask ‘how may I help you?’ to let the client push himself to do action and he feels we run together after you promise his action”.
I totally agree with this because the client feels coach runs together. You also can ask “can I send the message to check if you’ve done your action?”.
Design the session based on the trust between coach and client.
You can cross the line by questions and push the client back because you have trust.
You can also urge him to do what he didn’t think to do by acknowledging “you can do it!”.
I could’ve experienced that the client would be accelerate more if I could make the good rapport with client as quick as I could.
For example, on the first session or last week I couldn’t make the session as today.
Depends on the trust between coach and client, you have to change the way to communicate so I want to think about it and provide more valuable time for the client.

Gives feedback with considering the relationship among the people involved. I think I can utilize this for my life always like when I work and I listen my friends about their bothering about relationship.
Mr. Hayashi said “from the third person you might think ‘the saying is a bit wired,,,’ however among the people involved it is ok sometimes so you have to think about it”
I really got this idea.
I sometimes find fault with everything so I want to give my opinion after think where is the boundary.
